In November of 1985, a group of dedicated poodle breeders, decided that Alberta needed a resource for the public to utilize to find responsible poodle breeders and to educate about this wonderful breed. While back then, the focus was on conformation, we now participate in a variety of of public education avenues including Pet Expos, Seminars and in recent years performance events.
With some research and communications with long time breeders in Alberta, we've been able to outline the following list of breeders who were instrumental in the acclimation of the Poodle Club of Alberta:
Peggy Clarke (Topiary Miniature & Standard Poodles) - Club Secretary
Margie Krisch (Redpepper Standard Poodles)
Mavis Dustow (Sivam Toy Poodles)
Heather Albriton (Averina Standard Poodles)
Lynne Taplin (Alias Standard Poodles)
